The Columbia River Gorge

There are also several boat tours that you can take that will take you out onto the Columbia River.

If you are planning to visit Portland, you should consider kayaking. This city is home to many parks, lakes, and reservoirs. For example, you can visit the Rose Garden or the Portland Japanese Garden.
